Vicksburg Technical Assistance Project
The
Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) contracted with LSC
Transportation Consultants to conduct a technical assistance study for Vicksburg,
Mississippi and Warren County. The Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce was
instrumental in initiating this project. The grant
was awarded in 2003, and this study effort was the result of that grant.
A Public Transportation Committee was formed to provide input regarding transportation needs and possible services which could meet those needs. Much of the initial work on this project was completed by members of the Public Transportation Committee. LSC worked closely with this group throughout the study.
