The Community Transportation Association of America and Mississippi Department of Transportation has contracted with LSC to assist the Northeastern Portion of Mississippi in preparing a general public coordinated transportation plan for a 14 county area. This plan will explore the demographic characteristics of the area, inventory existing transportation services, provided quantitative demand estimates, provide alternatives for meeting the needs and demand, and develop a locally preferred operation plan.
