North Country Transit—a service of Tri-County Community Action Program in Berlin, New Hampshire— contracted with LSC Transportation Consultants, Inc. to provide technical assistance and support as part of a project funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The project is funded by the FTA as part of the Public Transportation Participation Pilot Program. This project is one of seven selected nationally for the first year of the program. Both the Agency Education Program (3,745 KB) and the Public Education Program (2,196 KB) are now available and present the education program focused on transportation providers, funding agencies, elected officials, and the public. These documents are meant to serve as a guide for presenting the education programs in any community.
An Executive Summary (1,038 KB) is available and presents a short summary of both programs.
The Resource Guide (796 KB) is also available at this time. It contains a gateway of information on the various transportation providers - public, private, volunteers, and human service agencies - that provide access to transportation services in the North Country Area which includes Carroll County, Coos County, and northern Grafton County.
