The Community Transportation Association of the Northwest contracted with LSC to provide transit technical assistance to the Mt. Si Senior Center of North Bend, Washington. Mt Si operates a general public demand response transit service to the communities of North Bend, Snoqualmie, Carnation, Fall City, Duvall, and Monroe in the Snoqualmie Valley. LSC will provide assistance to help the new service, now known as Snoqualmie Valley Transportation, to enhance and enlarge the existing service. LSC will review and assess the existing service, obtain public input by establishing a Steering Committee and conducting Key Person Interviews, estimate the demand for public transit in the service area, and develop a plan that will provide marketing strategies, service type, funding possibilities, and operational structure needed to enhance and enlarge Snoqualmie Valley Transportation.
