The City of Cheyenne contracted with LSC Transportation Consultants, Inc. to prepare a Comprehensive Five-Year Transit Development Plan (TDP) and Coordination Study for the Cheyenne Transit Program (CTP), specifically focusing on the City of Cheyenne urban area. This first Technical Memorandum presents a summary of the existing conditions related to public transit services, estimates transit demand for the study area, and analyzes possible alternatives to meet the future transit demand. Information in this report includes a description of the community, a review of CTP, the transportation issues to be addressed in the study, and concludes with a set of recommendations. The study focuses on transportation issues within the City of Cheyenne for the disabled, elderly and low-income populations.
