Central Front Range Regional Transit Plan
LSC prepared a Regional Transit Plan for the Central Front Range comprising portions of El Paso, Teller, Park, and Fremont Counties. Chaffee County, which is in the San Luis Transportation Planning Region is part of the planning process. The Colorado Department of Transportation is moving from the Transportation Development Plan (TDP) as the planning document to a Transit Element of the Regional Transportation Plan. This update will be a Transit Element and include long-range components.
The update is required to provide support for grant applications to receive Federal Transit Administration funds for 2002 and 2003.
The Transit Element has been reviewed and approved by the Regional Planning Commission. The document is available in Adobe Acrobat format.
